PrepBridge began with a simple idea: students learn differently when they're taught by someone who has recently been in their shoes. What started with Cambridge students tutoring friends and siblings through their GCSEs and A-levels showed us just how valuable that experience could be. Our tutors remember the topics that seemed impossible at first, the exam techniques that made the difference, and the small mistakes that can cost valuable marks. We created PrepBridge to make that experience available to more students — connecting them with Cambridge students who have recently navigated the same exams themselves.
We saw a gap between traditional tutoring and generic online courses. We wanted to create something more personal: access to Cambridge students who have recently navigated the same GCSE and A-level exams, and who remember the topics that cause confusion, the exam techniques that make a difference, and the past-paper questions that catch students out. PrepBridge was built to bridge that gap — combining the academic expertise of Cambridge students with focused, individualised tuition.
Every session is built around the individual student — whether that's mastering a difficult topic, preparing for an upcoming mock, or tackling a paper where they're repeatedly losing marks. We go beyond simply marking answers as "right" or "wrong." Our tutors focus on the detail that matters in real exams: understanding the mark scheme, identifying where marks are being lost, and developing the techniques needed to consistently achieve them.
Our tutors are all current Cambridge students who recently achieved outstanding results in the same GCSE and A-level subjects they now teach. They know what it takes to master the syllabus, navigate challenging exam questions, and turn knowledge into marks — because they've been through it themselves.
Send us a message with your subject and exam board — we'll tell you honestly if we can help.
